This is great product to use for high traffic surfaces – this water based polyacrylic coating is the strongest protective sealer that Dixie Belle offers. Comes in a satin finish.
Additionally it is Water Repellant! Use this sealant for tabletops, nightstand tops, kitchen counters (yes! you can paint countertops with Dixie Belle!!), Kitchen Cabinets, or even your front door! Use is anywhere where you anticipate the surface to get wet or in mouse environments.
Get a Gator Hide Blue sponge to apply it! Made for applying Gator Hide, this is the best way to get your finish onto the surface of your piece.

Applying Dixie Belle Sealers
(Clear Coat & Gator Hide)
Apply 2 to 3 coats thin coats for the typical piece. Dixie Belle Sealers (Clear Coat and Gator Hide) are water based finishes. Apply it with a dampened brush or small foam roller or Blue Sponge. Do Not Overwork It! – Don’t go back and forth multiple times over an area, rather apply a thin coat in one or tow passes. Let it dry and set for about an hour then reapply additional coats to cover areas that you may have missed and build up the sealer to a level of 2 to 3 coats.
