Handsome 1940's lowboy dresser rendered in Hepplewhite style. Refinished in black with blue undertones, with edges slightly distressed. The original oval pulls which have been refinished with copper gilding wax. The drawer fronts have a slight bow and the bottom skirt has a curved cut. Otherwise this piece is minimally adorned with little ornamentation. Featuring eight easy moving dovetail drawers in good vintage condition. This piece will look handsome in any bedroom with a rich colored finish on the neutral side. Condition: This painted piece with slightly distressed edges is in very good vintage condition. There are minor surface blemishes consistent with a piece of its age. The dovetail drawers are easy moving and function well.
